12/25/25 THE BRAND NAME
Hello, for those who are reading this and are not familiar with my brand, my name is Christian Mierke. I am a 16 year old upcoming entrepreneur with a plan to start a revolutionary clothing brand. The first part of making a great brand (or simply a company in general) is the name. When I was gathering my thoughts I was having significant trouble trying to find a name that fits or simply clicked or “felt right”. Here I realized I was trying to make a finishing touch without building my foundation first. To create an exceptional name for my brand I had to identify my brand values. These values include faith, ethics, and going against the crowd to create new things.
With these values established I still felt slightly lost trying to settle on a name. Just then I decided to start looking through my Bible. I flipped through the vast number of pages to settle on the last book in the Bible: Revelation. In this book in the Bible (written by the apostle John) he has significant revelations (or realizations) about the future. Specifically he has visions of Jesus and is made to understand what will happen in the end times.
Due to the significance of this book and its prophetic message it fits my brand incredibly well. To start my brand name is derived from the Bible, which means that It connects with my brand value of faith. Additionally due to the Christian faith being used to promote ethical causes and establish a sense of morality this name is further connected to my brand. Lastly the idea of doing new things and going against the grain is represented in the name because the definition of revelation is described as a surprising fact or realization that was not previously known. This definition fits better if that knowledge was revealed in a dramatic way. The definition itself connects towards going against the grain because to have a revolutionary brand I must provide innovative products to my customers in a dramatic manner. Essentially, RVLATION is a brand that stands for God, ethics, and innovation.
